Kelly Haakman
During and after my study International Tourism Management at Tio University of Applied Sciences, I worked as a tour guide at various European destinations for a number of years.
After a few years I wanted to settle down in the Netherlands and I started as an Event Manager at an event agency that mainly focused on organizing company, friends and family parties at various locations in North Holland.
Because I wanted to live in Amsterdam again, I made a switch to another event agency where I also visited the Beurs van Berlage a number of times as a visitor. Every time I entered the Beurs I was surprised by the beautiful special building. When a vacancy became available in the Events department, I did not hesitate for a moment and I now enjoy working in this beautiful building where I still come across something new almost every day. This beautiful building continues to surprise me!
