Intimate Audrey is a ‘bespoke’ exhibition on the life of Audrey Hepburn created by her son, Sean Hepburn Ferrer, to celebrate her 90th birthday anniversary. Originally launched in her birth town of Brussels, Belgium, the exhibition is now coming to her home country and Amsterdam.
Composed in large part of unpublished photographs, it focuses entirely on the woman – not the icon. It is the woman behind the legend who is ‘coming home’.
The exhibition, laid out over 600 square meters in the north hall of Beurs van Berlage includes several hundred original and re-printed photographs, a limited amount of memorabilia, dresses and accessories, as well as her never before seen fashion drawings and humanitarian writings. A series of poignant videos bring each of its chapters to life.
Intimate Audrey is open daily until January 31st 2020, from 10 am to 6 pm (the cash register closes at 5 pm).
Tickets can be ordered online via Ticketmaster or can be purchased at the Beurs van Berlage reception.
All of its profits will go to EURORDIS – Rare Diseases Europe.
Please note you cannot pay by cash at the ticket office. You can only pay with credit or debit card.
