Originally built and designed as an exchange in 1903, the Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage is centrally located in Amsterdam. Amsterdam is easy to reach as Schiphol International Airport is considered a major hub with direct flight and train connections to most cities in Europe. From Schiphol Airport, direct trains to Amsterdam Central Station run every 10 minutes. From Amsterdam Central Station it is only a 5-minute walk to the Beurs van Berlage.

We offer a wide variety of halls and meeting rooms to support international (association) conferences. On the ground floor are 3 large halls with 10 break out rooms on the 1st floor. The largest hall can accommodate conferences up to 1,300 in theatre style.
We market ourselves as a venue for business supporting international conferences, and as a building open for public supporting all meeting and event types. We make sure this is also reflected on our website and it is always present in our sales and marketing activities.
The Beurs van Berlage is located in the centre of Amsterdam and is a 5-minute walk from Amsterdam’s Central Station. Trains to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport as a run directly every 10 minutes and take approximately 15 minutes. By taxi you can travel from the airport to the venue within 30 minutes.
By car you can reach the Beurs van Berlage within 10 minutes from the A10 Motorway and, for those driving, 3000 car park spaces are within a ten-minute walk. For conference delegates we are able to provide exit tickets at a reduced rate for Parking Centrum Oosterdok.
Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage is a venue for business and we have hosted multiple international conferences organised by the healthcare industry including those involving HCP, such as association / society meetings; scientific programs; training programs and sales meetings.
The Beurs van Berlage is suitable for conferences up to 1,300 delegates and it is possible to use either the entire building or a combination of rooms. All meeting spaces are provided with their own dedicated entrances allowing for more than one healthcare company to host their meeting at our venue at the same time. All meeting rooms are proposed to provide an area for registration; main plenary, catering and exhibition areas.
Beurs van Berlage is a full-service venue and has a strong focus on international conferences. All halls are equipped to include standard facilities such as staging, lectern, microphone, laptop, sound system, projector & screen and monitor. For additional support we work together with, and can supply, a list of preferred suppliers specialising in audio visual, exhibition stand builds, signage, decoration and catering although bookers are able to provide their own.
On the ground floor there are 3 halls available. These are suitable for main plenary sessions with areas for exhibition/ poster sessions and catering facilities. These 3 halls are connected via a centrally located hall which can be used for registration; speaker rehearsals, support offices, etcetera.
On the 1st floor, 3 large sized breakout rooms are available, able to seat up to 150 delegates in theatre style. Also, on the 1st floor are 9 smaller rooms suitable for breakouts with capacities which vary between 12 and 60 delegates in theatre set up. First floor is available by both staircase and elevator.
In addition to live eventing, we can also extend your conference using the Beurs van Berlage Virtual Live Events platform.
Inside our building, next to the conference centre, are 2 restaurants, a chocolate shop, an exhibition centre and several offices located. These facilities each have a separate entrance. All meeting spaces are only available for your conference participants.
There are no bedrooms at our venue however, to support meetings and events that require accommodation, we provide Hotel services which utilises contracts with hotels across the city in different price and star rates. This allows your delegates to book their preferred hotels via a tailored website.
There are 2 restaurants located inside the building with a separate entrance from the conference centre. As a venue there are no leisure or sporting facilities available.
Our service level is consistent with a venue suitable for healthcare meetings and events. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the conference centre and it is possible to requests to sign-up or not as required.
