The Beurs van Berlage is accessible to everyone. Despite the monumental status and the many stairs in the Beurs, we have the facilities to also receive less abled visitors.
Our accessibility starts at the main entrance. Thanks to a smart integrated lift, it is also possible for less abled visitors to enter the Beurs via the stairs in the main entrance.
All main halls of the Beurs van Berlage are located on the ground floor and have very wide entrances without barriers, making them all wheelchair accessible.
The other breakout rooms are located on the first floor or in the basement, which are easily accessible via a spacious, glass elevator.
The Beurs van Berlage is also fully prepared for visitors with visual impairments. For example, not only are there clear markings on the stairs to mark the end of the stairs, but our elevators are also equipped with buttons that take visitors with a visual impairment into account.
Finally, the Beurs van Berlage also has sanitary facilities that are fully equipped for disabled people. Sufficient space, equipped with an alarm if help is needed, ensures that less abled visitors to the Beurs van Berlage can also safely make a sanitary stop.
