Inspiring youth project

On Friday morning, the first edition of the Week van het Geld (Week of Money) Awards took place at the Beurs van Berlage, where school classes from secondary education and mbo developed impressive campaigns on financial awareness. Six nominated classes presented their ideas to an expert jury led by Minister Carola Schouten. Queen Máxima presented awards to Terra College from Emmen for their campaign Don’t be a catch, watch your Cash! and to ROC Nijmegen for their campaign Financial fitness: your key to success. Budget = King! The winners will contribute to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment’s youth campaign.

Our social commitment

The Beurs van Berlage proudly facilitated the Week of Money Awards, as part of our mission to make the building serve as a Palazzo Pubblico – a place for meetings, knowledge exchange and culture, just as master architect H.P. Berlage once dreamed. Twice a year, we offer our halls free of charge to social or charitable causes. This event highlights our commitment to society and promoting social initiatives.
