The Beurs van Berlage has a high-quality and heavily equipped climate system. Given the age of the building, there is an enormous capacity available to keep the temperatures standard within the relatively poorly insulated building. This also automatically means that the available air quantity is more than sufficient when the building is used with a high number numbers of people.
Thanks to our high-quality and heavily equipped climate system, fresh air / ventilation is more than sufficiently available, especially now that we allow fewer people into the building under the new Corona regulations.
Our installations normally use part of the air from a room several times before we blow this air out again, this is also called recirculation. We no longer do this since March 2020, all the air that is blown into the building comes fresh from outside.
