The Beurs van Berlage is a lively place where culture, events and relaxation go hand in hand. In addition to business meetings, various companies are also located at the base of the building. For example, you can take on the challenge in one of Sherlocked’s escape rooms, work with a view of Central Station at Meet Berlage, or enjoy two cosy restaurants: Bistro Berlage and The Seafood Bar.

Soon there will be even more to experience at the Beurs van Berlage. At the end of 2025, Fleur and Pepijn de Visscher, co-owners of the leading The Seafood Bar, and Ken Srisangkhan, owner and chef of the eponymous Ken Sushi, will open a new culinary late-night destination in the monumental building: House of Noa.

With the conversion of this space into House of Noa, we are creating a wonderful new addition to the Beurs van Berlage. During the process, we are paying close attention to high-quality sound insulation so that the conference centre will not be disturbed in any way. We look forward to welcoming Fleur, Pepijn and Ken in December with this unique and new concept and wish them every success with the opening.’ – Kelvin van Nimwegen, Property Manager Beurs van Berlage

House of Noa is inspired by London’s dynamic after-hours scene. It will be an elegant venue where guests can enjoy refined dining followed by dancing. In other words, a place where Amsterdam residents are welcome to enjoy a complete night out. Design duo Marie Martin is designing the interior of House of Noa. They are translating the atmosphere of a 19th-century Hong Kong opium den into a design that combines antique furniture with modern lighting and sound technology to create a warm, distinctive ambiance.

Following the success of The Seafood Bar, which also opened in the Beurs van Berlage in 2024, it is a dream come true to now be able to create something that has never been done before at this iconic location. – Pepijn de Visscher

House of Noa was selected by the Beurs van Berlage from fifteen pitches by various hospitality entrepreneurs to open in the Beurs van Berlage, confirming the distinctive character of the concept: “The arrival of House of Noa fits in seamlessly with our objective of making the Beurs van Berlage a special meeting place in the heart of the city. With this new development, we offer a unique experience to our conference attendees, visitors to the city and, of course, the people of Amsterdam!” – Marcel Schonenberg, Managing Director of the Beurs van Berlage

With the arrival of House of Noa, the Beurs van Berlage is once again enriched with a destination that brings together history and contemporary experience. The monumental building on Damrak continues to develop into a place where business meetings, cultural experiences and culinary discoveries reinforce each other. In this way, the Beurs van Berlage remains not only an iconic location in the heart of Amsterdam, but also a lively meeting place for visitors from home and abroad, as well as for Amsterdammers themselves.
