Accessible and central

The Beurs van Berlage is centrally located on Damrak in Amsterdam, just 300 metres from Amsterdam Central Station. This makes it easy to reach from Schiphol Airport by train or taxi, with the train journey taking only fifteen minutes. Several tram and bus stops are also within a 1-5 minute walking distance.

The Beurs van Berlage is accessible to everyone, including visitors with disabilities. We offer elevators with visual markings, adapted restroom facilities, and clear stair markings to ensure a comfortable and safe visit to our historic building.

How to reach the Beurs?

By train

The Beurs van Berlage is easily accessible by train. Amsterdam Central Station is approximately 300 metres (a 5-minute walk) from the Beurs. From Schiphol Airport, around 18 trains per hour run to Amsterdam Central Station, with a travel time of approximately 15-20 minutes. Train tickets can be conveniently purchased online before your journey

By tram or metro

There’s a tram stop on Damrak, directly opposite the Beurs. Another stop is located a 5-minute walk away, behind the Royal Palace on Dam Square. If you’re travelling by metro, you can disembark at Amsterdam Central Station or, if you’re using the North-South Line, at Rokin. For more details, visit the GVB website.

By bus

If you’re coming by bus, you can alight near the Bijenkorf department store. There are also bus stops behind the Royal Palace or at Amsterdam Central Station. For more information, check the GVB website.

By taxi

We work closely with Taxi Centrale Amsterdam (TCA). You can easily order a taxi to the Beurs by calling +31 (0)20 777 77 77. The journey from Schiphol takes approximately 25 minutes.

By bike

The Beurs van Berlage is easily reachable by bike. Under Beursplein, the Municipality of Amsterdam provides a bike parking facility where you can park your bike for free for up to 24 hours. Don’t have a bike? We can arrange one for you through Yellow Bike, so you can cycle to the Beurs from your hotel.

By (electric) car

If travelling by car is unavoidable, we recommend checking Google Maps for the latest traffic updates before you set out. Roadworks in Amsterdam’s city centre may cause delays. Driving an electric car? Parking Centrum Oosterdok offers 136 charging points, making it the largest urban provider of electric charging facilities in the Netherlands.

By lorry

Deliveries to the Beurs van Berlage should be made via Beursstraat. For lorries over seven tonnes, a permit is required. If your vehicle exceeds 10 metres in length, it is not possible to exit Beursstraat without reversing. Roadworks in Amsterdam’s city centre often change access routes, so please consult the latest information for lorry traffic on this website.

Parking

The nearest car park is Bijenkorf Parking, but we recommend Parking Centrum Oosterdok, which is just a 15-minute walk away. This parking facility is easier to access, more affordable, and features 136 electric charging points.
