Beurs van Berlage code of conduct

The Beurs van Berlage, as a conference and event centre, is a meeting place for everyone. As such, we extend a warm welcome to people of all nationalities, ethnic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, political affiliations, and more. This inclusivity applies to our clients and guests, as well as our employees and the companies we do business with.

We firmly believe in the equality of all people, and this belief guides our interactions with others. Equality does not mean sameness—on the contrary, we celebrate diversity as a valuable asset.

Human rights, as outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, are always respected, including throughout the entire supply chain of goods and services provided by the Beurs. In this regard, we rely on numerous third parties. We hold our partners and suppliers accountable through clauses in our contracts. If we identify any deviations, we will not hesitate to address the issue and, if necessary, terminate the collaboration.

It is our policy not to tolerate human rights violations within our organisation—be it from a client, guest, supplier, or partner. While we adhere to the law, we are also mindful that the full background of these parties is not always entirely transparent and may conflict with our primary goal of being a meeting place for everyone.

We enforce a strict anti-bribery and anti-corruption policy. Accepting or permitting bribery attempts is strictly prohibited.
