Every year, four million people visit the Sistine Chapel in Rome to admire the beautiful ceiling frescoes by Michelangelo. The exhibition 'A Different View' offered the unique opportunity to look at his timeless work in a different way.

“A Different View" presented a very different picture of Michelangelo's works: the exhibition shows photomechanically reproduced copies almost in original size and in a way that invites visitors to looked at them in a contemplative and at the same time enthusiastic manner. Where you have to look up in the Sistine chapel, in the exhibition the masterpieces were on the ground, so that the visitors cuold walk around the gigantic masterpieces, giving a unique “different view" of Michelangelo's masterpieces.
The Michelangelo exhibition a Different View was on display in the Beurs van Berlage between 25th February and 12th May 2019.
