Explore the iconic Beurs van Berlage
On Saturday 23 August, we are proud to open the doors of the Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage for a special open day. A day when young and old are welcome to experience what architect Hendrik Petrus Berlage envisioned more than a century ago: a palazzo pubblico, a house of the people: accessible, connecting and inspiring.
During this Open Day, not only can you visit the Beurs van Berlage, but there are also fantastic Amsterdam initiatives and entrepreneurs telling their stories, such as: Stichting Literary Activities Amsterdam (SLAA), Heinen Delfts Blauw, Eberhardjes, Henri Willig and FC Centrum! So we are once again truly a Gesamtkunstwerk as Berlage envisioned.

Programme throughout the day:
🎵 Let children drum in the monumental Beurs – Make drums and breathe life into an age-old tradition.
🎨 Meet today’s creative entrepreneurs and organisations – Amsterdam’s makers, thinkers and dreamers.
🎶 Be surprised by musical acts – all inspired by the building.
🧱 And of course: immerse yourself in the rich history of the Beurs itself – with guided tours and stories from Beurs employees you’d never hear otherwise.
