Our organisation
The Beurs van Berlage, a national monument in the heart of Amsterdam, spans 16,000 m². In the 1980s, the building gained a societal role, hosting concerts and events. However, due to high foundation restoration costs and low rental income, the owner (Stadsdeel Centrum) sold the Beurs van Berlage in 2008. Four public and private entities purchased the property and took over its management. Since then, the Beurs van Berlage has operated as a limited partnership with four equal partners: the City of Amsterdam, De Key, Amvest, and BPD.
Today, the Beurs van Berlage houses various businesses and hosts prestigious conferences, meetings, and events. It delivers top-quality service daily, focusing on personal hospitality. The organisation operates with a clear commitment to social responsibility. Moreover, all earnings are reinvested into preserving the historic building, rather than being distributed to the partners.
