In the former skippers café of the Beurs van Berlage you’ll find Tony’s Chocolonely Chocolate Bar… a dream come true for every choco fan. Chocolate is, of course, what it’s all about at our bar, but whilst taking a bite of our crazy delicious choco creations, you will also find out everything you need to know about Tony’s serious mission. Napkins included!
Tony’s Chocolonely Chocolate Bar is located in the Beurs van Berlage. The entrance is on the corner, on the side of the Central Station. From some height you can enjoy a beautiful view over the shoppers passing by. If you come by car, you can park in one of the large parking garages in the area, such as Parking Oosterdok. Tony’s Chocolonely Chocolate Bar is also easily accessible by public transport. When you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station and walk towards the city center, you’ll already see the Beurs van Berlage on the left, three hundred meters down the road.
Tony’s Chocolonely Chocolate Bar, is not only about our yummy chocolate. It’s also a place where we want to create awareness about the inequality of the chocolate industry that is still present today, and which leads to modern slavery and child labor on cocoa farms in West Africa. When visiting our Bar you will learn more about this inequality in all kinds of ways. At our unequally divided tables, at our bar that we’ve made just a little bit too high or just by taking a glimpse of the clothing of our bar stars. Because just like Tony’s, also in our Bar, we are crazy about chocolate, serious about people.
In addition to the delicious chocolate from Tony’s Chocolonely Chocolate Bar, you can taste many other items in the Beurs van Berlage. What about a delicious piece of chocolate in the Tony's Chocolonely super store? Or a tasty lunch or dinner in the beautiful Bistro Berlage? Whatever you choose, you are always surrounded by the walls of this monumental building. And they have hundreds of stories to tell.Overview
