During my Tourism Management study I ended up at a Tech company where I started working as an Event Manager. I found out that I am very 'concerned' with the dynamics of the events, at the same time Tourism continued to pull. That's why I got my pilot's license.
When I was working on that, I noticed that I mainly want to continue to do this recreationally and that I want to focus further on my passion Organizing events, creating an experience.
After this conclusion I went to study Media & Entertainment Management in the evening, during the day I worked as an Event Producer at a Tech company. These events took place in the Beurs van Berlage. I will never forget my first encounter with the Beurs; I saw an amazing building with a range of possibilities. The building radiated hospitality and dynamism with an international allure. All ingredients came together for a superlative experience.
After living in different places, I wanted to live in Amsterdam. I started working at uwv as Project Manager Events, after a few years I thought it was time for my personal development. My focus was on NLP and Public Speaking. During this focus I saw the vacancy of Event Manager at the Beurs, my thoughts immediately went back to that 'first meeting'.
Now I am proud to say that I am a member of the 'Beurs family' and that I look forward every day to converting the customer's wishes into a superlative experience at the Beurs van Berlage.
