I saw the light of day in the beautiful and exuberant Maastricht, where I was able to spend my time, with great pleasure, until my 32nd year of life. This is also where I started my working life, by running my own eatery. After being an independent entrepreneur for 8 years, it was time for me to broaden my horizons and I ended up in Amsterdam.
Once in Amsterdam, I was allowed to further develop myself. Also my love for Amsterdam increased. At Stromma, I was able to manage the fleet and skippers with great pleasure, and I was able to participate in the organization of the Amsterdam Light Festival every year. Despite the fact that Amsterdam is the most beautiful from the water, I still saw room to develop myself and as a museum manager I ended up at the Anne Frank House, a very beautiful and impressive place to work.
After three very valuable years at the museum, I still missed the dynamics and buzz of a location such as the Beurs van Berlage and luckily we turned out to be a great match. Hospitality is very important to me and I am very proud that I can be part of the Beurs van Berlage team, where hospitality is in the DNA of the employees and the beautiful building.
