Beurs van Berlage

The Beurs van Berlage is a hotspot that cannot be missed during your visit to Amsterdam. It is the vibrant meeting point in the heart of the city. One thing is certain, there is always something to do in the unique historical building! As a consequence of the official restrictions to contain COVID-19, Fever has had to postpone all Candlelight events that were planned to take place in the Beurs van Berlage in June. 

The July performances are luckily still taking place!

Tentative Programme:

Walk into one of Amsterdam’s emblematic buildings where the walls will be flickering by candlelight to create a magical atmosphere. Prepare to be taken into the clouds with Chopin’s most treasured masterpieces!

General info

  • Music: Solo Piano Performance by Joana Rolo
  • A very intimate atmosphere will be created, as there will be candles that will illuminate the room. For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.
  • Dates and times: July 9th & 10th, at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm (select during purchase).
  • Duration: 65 minutes. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start time. Late entry not permitted!
  • Where: Beurs van Berlage
  • Age requirement: Must be 8 years old or older to attend. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

In this day and age we must help each other. This gave rise to the idea to have companies and organisations buy a time slot for social institutions. Social institutions follow the circus route with a small group of reporters of, for example, children, the elderly, refugees and clients and interview the artists on behalf of their institution. Companies can choose a social institution themselves or make a choice from a list of institutions that we have collected. In the credits of Walking-on-Circus-the-movie, all companies and organisations that have bought one time slot for another are named by name.

As a consequence of the official restrictions to contain COVID-19, Fever has had to postpone all Candlelight events that were planned to take place in the Beurs van Berlage in June. A new date will be confirmed shortly. Fever’s priority is to make sure you have an amazing experience, whilst always putting your health and safety first.
