The Berlage zaal was originally used by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a meeting room. Today this is a perfect room for gatherings, meetings, seminars and break-out sessions. The beautiful stained glass windows give your meeting a unique appearance.

History Berlage Zaal
The Berlage zaal was originally the meeting room of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 1904, this Chamber of Commerce and Industry took on an increasingly important role in the economy of the Netherlands and was therefore given a place in the Beurs van Berlage to meet. The Chamber of Commerce served as the supervisor of various regional Commerces and Factories.
The Berlage zaal was the crowning glory of the work of architect Berlage, who decorated the meeting room with a stained glass window by Antoon Derkinderen, containing various personifications of planets, but also of the city of Amsterdam. The logo of the city of Amsterdam can also be found in the – still original, dated 1903 – carpet.
