Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage is constantly working to further improve the quality of the building for conferences and events. For example, all the break out rooms on the first floor have been completely renovated in the past few months.
The rooms have been restored to their original grandeur with a colour scheme that perfectly suits the unique atmosphere of the architecture. All the rooms have also been equipped with climate control systems so that they’re always at the right temperature and air quality. The most state-of-the-art AV technology has also been installed at the same time, including LED screens, narrowcasting, digital control panels, etc.
To top it all off, service stations with coffee machines, refrigerators, etc. have been installed in all the rooms so that the highest possible service facilities are always available.
General Manager Marcel Schonenberg is very satisfied with these complex adjustments. 'It was a huge job with various challenges to be able to offer the most modern technical facilities without it being detrimental to the historical value. We tackled the challenge together with our architect Janneke Bierman (BiermanHenket Architects) and Dev_real estate, and I would venture to say that the result is exceptionally beautiful. '
The new chairs chosen after a careful selection process just round it all off. This brings us one step further in the implementation of our master plan to the make the Beurs the very best conference and event location in the world.'
